Mumtalakat names new chief executive

The Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat) yesterday welcomed the appointments of Khalid Al Rumaihi to its board of directors and Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa as the new chief executive, effective May 1.

The appointment of Mr Al Rumaihi was announced in an edict issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Economic Development Board chairman.

Mumtalakat’s board of directors, chaired by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, confirmed the company’s commitment to continue to grow and diversify its portfolio within various priority sectors, which will increase its contribution to the national economy in line with the goals of the national development vision of His Majesty King Hamad and the guidance of HRH Prince Salman.
