Roadmap for reopening of schools, higher education institutes ordered

A roadmap to organise the reopening of schools and higher education institutions has been ordered today.

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa gave the directives as he chaired the weekly Cabinet session remotely.

However, The Premier also directed that the plan takes into account the likelihood of a surge in Covid-19 cases.

The study needs to revolve around students' health safety first and the continuation of normal education.

Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa has been tasked with the responsibility.
