Call to respect Covid steps

MANAMA: Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr Waleed Al Manea yesterday called on everyone to keep up their determination and sense of responsibility during the Eid holidays and continue to adhere to all measures taken to mitigate the spread of Covid-19.

People should be committed to reducing the rate of infection resulting from contact during the holidays to avoid a repeat of the high number of cases that marked Eid Al Fitr in May due to complacency in the proper application of instructions issued by the relevant authorities, he said.
