FCCIB hosted a successful Conference & Networking Dinner with Mr. Frédéric Sanchez, President of MEDEF International and Chairman of the Fives Executive Board.
FCCIB, the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Bahrain, successfully hosted an exclusive Conference & Networking Dinner on Tuesday, February 25th, featuring Mr. Frédéric Sanchez, President of MEDEF International and Chairman of the Fives Executive Board.
FCCIB was honored to welcome H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry & Commerce, alongside H.E. Mr. Eric Giraud-Telme, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, H.E. Mr. Khalid Al Rumaihi, Chairman of Alba and Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB.
In his keynote on Industry 4.0: Decarbonisation, Digitalisation, Automatisation, Mr. Sanchez emphasized the impact of technological advancements on global industry and the importance of sustainability and automation in enhancing competitiveness. He accentuated on France's expertise in automation and digitalisation and showcased successful Franco-Bahraini collaborations, such as the Fives-Alba partnership, as examples of innovation and cooperation. Mr. Sanchez also highlighted Bahrain’s business-friendly environment, praising the Kingdom’s openness and welcoming approach, which make it an attractive destination for international companies.
The Q&A session that followed focused on global industry development, offering attendees the opportunity to discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the sector worldwide. The evening concluded with a networking dinner, where business leaders and professionals engaged in fruitful exchanges.
