Crown Prince praises key role of financial sector

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, underscored that it is one of the priority economic sectors in the kingdom.

The Crown Prince was speaking during a meeting, held remotely, with Investcorp executive chairman Mohammed Alardhi.

He emphasised that Bahrain continues to progress in its diversification efforts and increasing the contribution of emerging sectors to the national economy, leading to further growth and a generation of greater quality opportunities.

The Crown Prince underlined His Majesty King Hamad’s support for Bahrain’s pro-growth initiatives, which have strengthened the kingdom’s economic base.

He noted that efforts are underway to develop and deploy technology in various economic sectors, which will advance Bahrain’s competitiveness and facilitate further growth opportunities.

Mr Alardhi expressed his appreciation for the Crown Prince’s steadfast support for the financial sector.
