New e-service for jobs in private sector
A NEW e-service will allow people seeking jobs in private companies to apply online, and company owners to select their employees at the click of a button.
The information was provided by Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan who yesterday revealed that all requests connected to job offers and hiring employees will be done online from now on.
People seeking jobs in private companies could now be hired instantly through the new facility.
“The e-services at the ministry is witnessing major developments as it is focusing on facilitating everyone, for job-seekers to employers,” he said, in a statement.
“A new e-service has been introduced to allow citizens to apply in private companies and company owners to advertise their job offers, to help them find the proper national human resources.
“This will make hiring employees a lot easier.
“This is all connected with Tamkeen.
“All requests by employees will be online from now on.”
The new e-service is available on www.mlsd.gov.bh
Mr Humaidan said company owners can access the job-seekers’ information and can set up an interview or even hire them online.
“Now it’s much easier for employers to view the CV and the prospective employee’s information online.
“They can even hire employees or set up an interview with them.
“Furas (chances) programme will also help companies find trainees.
“People seeking a job can submit the requests to five jobs at the same time online.
“Going ahead, employers can also record any work-related accidents and home address of their employees online.”
